Why we’re here

Less on the screen.
More room for wonder.

Baby Vocab begins with a simple idea: a beautiful picture does not need much around it. A clear shape. A word you can say together. A moment that belongs to you.

We bring 520 black-and-white illustrations into a premium, Montessori-inspired native iPhone and iPad app, with thoughtful controls for appearance, written words, recorded speech and saved collections. It is a picture library to explore, not a syllabus to complete.

The artwork is the point.

From familiar objects to wonderfully unfamiliar animals, each card has room to stand on its own. The website shows a small selection from the app’s collection. Every card in the app is a crisp SVG illustration, paired with its own offline spoken-word recording.

A useful Blog for parents.

Baby Vocab is published by Fractelle Inc.

The Baby Vocab editorial team publishes this Blog. We have a commercial interest in our own app, and our comparisons say so. We distinguish our product knowledge from other developers’ descriptions, link to sources, date our checks, and explain what we have not tested.

We do not invent reviews, ratings, qualifications, or developmental promises. Where another approach may fit better, we say that too. A useful comparison should help you decide, not make the decision for you.

Our practical articles are ideas for exploring pictures together. They are not medical advice or a claim that an app replaces real-world play, books, or personal interaction.
